How To Play Super Enalotto

The Super Ena Lotto is another hugely popular European lottery. Based in Italy it has some of the craziest odds of winning, but also regularly boasts some of the biggest jackpot rollovers seen in any national lottery. Normally the tickets are only available for players living in Italy but now with the dawn of the internet you can play online too. Before purchasing a ticket however it’s helpful to know the rules of the game and how it plays.

First things first with the SuperEnaLotto you must purchase two lines of numbers at a time. The tickets have a relatively lower price compared with other lotteries however. You’ll also find that having two lines is a necessity if you’re to have realistic odds of winning. The odds of winning are made so unfavourable because each line is made up of 6 numbers you choose from a pool of 1-90. This huge pool of numbers gives enormous variation to the possible winning 6 number combination.

To make the game easier the SuperEnaLotto allows you to pick more than 6 numbers. In fact you may select as many numbers as you like. When you choose more than 6 numbers you must purchase one line for each different combination of 6 that can be made with the numbers you’ve chosen. For instance with 7 numbers you must purchase 7 lines, because 7 different combinations of 6 can be made. With 8 numbers chosen you must play 28 lines -28 different combinations of 6 can be made. This continues upward for as many numbers as you’d like to play with, but as you can see the amount of entries required thus the cost to play quickly increases by large amounts.

This method is very popular for syndicate play as it allows players to vastly beat the odds of the game, while sharing in the rather high cost of entry. To win a cash prize in the SuperEnaLotto you must match at least 3 numbers. Matching 4 or 5 will win you larger prizes, and 6 will win you the jackpot. You may also pay a bit extra with each ticket to select a “SuperStar” number for the line you are entering. A SuperStar number if drawn will either multiply a prize you’ve won for matching 3, 4 or 5 numbers, I.E a non jackpot prize, or it will turn a losing entry that only matches 0, 1 or 2 numbers into a cash winning ticket.

Draws take place 3 days a week at 8pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. 6 main numbers and a ‘Jolly’ number are drawn, along with the SuperStar number which is drawn also from a pool of 1-90 but from a separate machine making it possible for it to match one of the main numbers. The Jolly number just helps you win more prize money if you fail to catch the jackpot.
